GCP Tech Lead

We are seeking a GCP Tech Lead to serve as the technical leader and owner of the enterprise Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment. This individual will define cloud architecture standards, drive cloud transformation initiatives, and build secure, scalable, and automated GCP environments in highly regulated enterprise settings. As the GCP subject matter expert, you will own the enterprise GCP platform end-to-end, including organization hierarchy, landing zone architecture, networking, security, IAM, governance, compliance, observability, Kubernetes strategy, and Infrastructure as Code standards.

You will lead platform engineering initiatives focused on automation, self-service capabilities, operational excellence, and cloud cost optimization while partnering closely with architecture, security, networking, operations, and application teams. This hands‑on leadership role requires deep expertise in GCP, Terraform, Git Ops, and Kubernetes, with responsibility for architecting enterprise‑grade networking and security solutions, implementing automated compliance and CI/CD frameworks, driving Fin Ops initiatives, authoring architecture decisions, mentoring engineers, and evaluating emerging technologies such as Vertex AI, GKE Enterprise, and Agentic AI.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical leadership with hands‑on engineering experience and serves as the final authority for GCP platform strategy, design, and operational excellence across the enterprise.

• 10+ years of infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands‑on GCP engineering and architecture experience in enterprise environments.
• Proven experience designing and building enterprise GCP environments from the ground up, including GCP Organizations, governance, and multi-project architectures.
• Strong technical leadership experience serving as a Principal Engineer, Platform Owner, or Cloud Architect.
• Deep expertise with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred), Kubernetes, Git Ops, and cloud automation.
• Experience supporting highly regulated environments with strong security and compliance requirements.
• Strong understanding of GCP networking, IAM, security, platform governance, and cloud operating models.
• Experience implementing AI-driven solutions, Agentic AI, or cloud-native AI platform capabilities.
• Google Professional Cloud Architect Certification
• Google Professional Cloud Dev Ops Engineer Certification
• Terraform Associate or Professional Certification
• Experience operating platforms in regulated environments (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC2, FedRAMP)
• Palo Alto VM-Series NGFW in GCP
• F5 BIG-IP VE
• Anthos / GKE Enterprise
• Multi-cloud connectivity experience
• Vertex AI
• LLM / Generative AI experience
• Agentic AI experience
• Enterprise MLOps patterns
• Advanced CI/CD runner infrastructure
