Our client is an A+ rated international carrier seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Senior Underwriter to join their expanding middle market division. This role will be hybrid in Hartford or fully remote in the Northeast for candidates outside commutable hefty distance.
The Senior Underwriter will handle Property, Casualty, W/C, Auto and Umbrella lines of coverage for Middle Market $100k-$1M+ in premium and work with retail brokers and agencies in an assigned local territory.
Ideal candidates will have experience producing new business with middle‑market size accounts that already have retail relationships in the territory.
Requirements- 2‑8+ years of middle‑market P&C underwriting experience
- Retail tombstone relationships required
