Healthcare Construction Project Manager

STV is currently hiring a Healthcare Project Manager for the PM/CM group in Norwalk, CT. The role involves representing owners on capital programs and leading the delivery of projects and programs for healthcare clients, including facility upgrades, renovations, and new or occupied healthcare facilities.

• Lead cross‑functional healthcare projects and initiatives with demanding resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
• Monitor design and construction activities to ensure all phases meet contractual agreements and corporate quality standards.
• Define and assign project responsibilities to the Assistant Project Manager and team.
• Mentor team members to grow skillsets and foster a high‑performing project team.
• Manage project financials, cash‑flow analyses, cost estimates, purchase orders, change orders, and invoices.
• Forecast, identify, and address potential liabilities and risks.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules, ensuring objectives are met.
• Maintain client, consultant, contractor, and vendor relationships and manage conflict resolution.
• Communicate complex ideas, anticipate concerns, and persuade stakeholders to facilitate successful project conclusions.
• Assist in evaluating, developing, and selecting standards, protocols, policies, and procedures to support project success.
• Provide guidance, direction, and instruction to less experienced team members.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Minimum 10 years of clinical renovations and owner‑representative/project management experience in hospitals, healthcare systems, pharmaceuticals, and/or laboratory projects.
• History of managing a minimum of $50 million in healthcare or related construction projects.
• Experience managing high‑rise construction projects.
• Strong project management techniques, concepts, principles, and standards, with excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels.
• Creative problem‑solving skills and ability to resolve issues promptly.
• Proficiency in supervising people, including recruitment, training, performance management, and development.
• High proficiency with general Microsoft applications, including MS Project and SharePoint.
• Experience with project management software and applications.
• Ability to forecast project challenges and formulate solutions to maintain safety, quality, schedule, and budget compliance.
