Vice President Operations

About the Company

We’re hiring a hands‑on VP of Operations to lead execution for a fast‑growing home services business. This is not a desk job and not a corporate “overseer” role. You will own day‑to‑day operations, field performance, and operational scale across a blue‑coloured workforce.

This role is built for a military leader who has run real operations, led teams in imperfect environments, and isn’t afraid to step into the field, diagnose problems firsthand, and set non‑negotiable standards. You are accountable for turning growth into disciplined execution.

• Own operational performance across field teams, branch leaders, and support functions
• Drive consistency in scheduling, dispatch, job quality, safety, and customer experience
• Establish and enforce clear operational standards, KPIs, and accountability rhythms
• Identify operational bottlenecks and fix them—people, process, or systems
• Develop frontline leaders (Ops Managers, GMs, Field Leaders)
• Partner with ownership on capacity planning, growth initiatives, and margin improvement
• Spend time in the field—observing, coaching, correcting, and reinforcing standards
• Build scalable systems without losing operational edge or speed

• Military leadership background required (officer or senior enlisted preferred)
• Proven experience running operations in a blue‑coloured environment (home services, construction, manufacturing, logistics, or similar)
• Track record of leading through growth, chaos, and constraint
• Comfortable getting hands dirty—this role requires presence, not delegation only
• Strong operator mindset: clarity, standards, follow‑through, and execution
• Ability to hold leaders accountable while developing them

• $200,000 total compensation (base + performance bonus)
