To keep our testing centers running smoothly, we are seeking a dedicated Machine Technician & Systems Engineer (Regular Full‑time Hourly) to support the upkeep and functionality of our facilities in Owatonna, MN.
Minimum full‑time starting pay is $20 per hour + Compensation is influenced by skill set, level of experience, and specific location. This position is benefits eligible effective on your hire date. For more information, visit Pearson Benefits.

For 40 hours per week with the possibility of overtime and weekend shifts. Ideal candidate can work Monday to Friday from 6 PM to 3 AM.
Education, Knowledge & Experience- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- 1 year experience in a related production position preferred but not required.
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment.
- Ability to produce a high level of quality.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate all department machines.
- Make operating adjustments to equipment as trained.
- Maintain logs and keep records as directed.
- Work cooperatively in a team environment to process materials or documents.
- Wear necessary protective clothing and equipment as required.
- Perform tasks involving the lifting and/or loading of materials.
- Maintain work area in neat, orderly, and safe manner.
- May perform higher classified work on an occasional basis for training purposes.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Support other departments as assigned.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and move pallets with a pallet jack as needed.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and push loaded carts of 650 lbs.
- Must be able to push and load 1,200 lb or heavier roll forms around.
- Work occasionally requires situations where extreme caution must be observed.
- Environment may produce higher than normal noise levels and airborne dust particles.
- Work may require off‑shift or irregular hours to assure minimal disruption to regular operational functions.
