Senior Market Research Content Developer - Hartford, CT Office

HSB has a wonderful opportunity for a Senior Market Research Content Developer. This position is located in our Hartford, CT office with a hybrid work schedule.

In this position you are responsible for executing the HSB Innovation & Customer Experience research team’s digital insight strategy, a comprehensive effort intended to optimize research communications & marketing. You will help manage and plan the tools that enable this strategy, translate a wide range of new and existing internal and externally developed market research content into engaging text and visual‑based stories, and conduct external market research and author original content that is highly digestible for the organization.

You will partner with subject matter experts to develop research that generates awareness and knowledge of key developments affecting our business.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, English, Communications, Business or another similar field
• Master’s degree a plus
• Minimum 5+ years relevant work experience
• Strong writing experience a requirement

• Strong ability to create engaging stories based on synthesis of supporting information
• Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, with good design sensibilities, required
• Personal work organization, communication and project management skills required
• Presenting and communicating effectively to internal business partners required
• Familiarity with working with technical platforms and software systems preferred
• Industry and business trend analysis skills preferred
• Excel knowledge desired
• Experience in market research preferred
• Experience building solid cross‑functional partnerships and presenting compelling insights a plus
