Intensive Care Unit Nurse RN - MSICU

Position Purpose

At Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center
, the Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) delivers patient care to individuals in critical condition.

Full time

12 Hour Night Shift

• Assume responsibility for Critical Care Patients, conducting assessments, devising care plans, and adjusting critical drips to ensure hemodynamic stability and appropriate sedation levels.
• Attend to patients requiring advanced monitoring, heightened observation, utilization of invasive equipment, and administration of intricate medication regimens.

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate’s degree in Nursing required.
• Valid RN license in Connecticut.

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Ideal candidates will have one or more years of ICU, Critical Care, or Step Down nursing experience.
• Candidates with a minimum of one year of acute inpatient nursing experience will be considered for training.
• BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• ACLS certification, support available for certification post‑hire.

• Full‑Time: 36 hrs/week – Night Shift.
• Rotating weekends and holidays.
• Specialty pay available for experienced nurses with one or more years of RN experience.
