The Hartford Health Care Heart and Vascular Institute at Hartford Hospital is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Non‑Invasive Cardiology team. Our department consists of the Echocardiology Laboratory and the Nuclear Stress Laboratory, performing over 14,000 echocardiograms and 4,500 stress tests annually. Nurses work closely with sonographers, technologists, cardiologists, fellows, and anesthesiologists to provide comprehensive nursing support for all non‑invasive testing.

The position offers three rotating full‑time shifts (7 am‑5 pm) with no on‑call, rotating weekends, and only one holiday per year, within a supportive, stimulating environment.

• Provide nursing care and support across all non‑invasive cardiology testing procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate accurate and timely testing.
• Ensure patient safety and quality of care through adherence to protocols and best practices.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post‑procedure care.

• Current Connecticut RN license.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association, required prior to hire.
• Strong cardiology background preferred.
