Job OverviewThe Retail Associate Manager works in partnership with the Store Manager to lead and develop the store team, aligning with T‑Mobile’s mission to earn a place in customers’ hearts. The role focuses on elevating customer experience, managing store performance, and fostering a high‑energy store culture.
Job Responsibilities- Instill a passion for T‑Mobile’s Manifesto and “Loving Our Customers” values in Mobile Associates through orientation and ongoing training.
- Ensure all customer needs are met, building confidence and delivering a comfortable, simple experience.
- Observe and provide feedback on Mobile Associates’ customer interactions for development and coaching.
- Manage customer wait times and stay current on products, services, and promotions.
- Act as a subject‑matter expert on products, services, training, and leadership best practices, ensuring the team meets monthly performance metrics.
- Maintain store quality standards, visual displays, and interactive devices; support Retail Methods & Procedures.
- Educate the team on store systems and corporate communications; achieve financial results measured by key performance indicators; control store expenses and manage discounting and credits.
- 1 year of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in retail.
- Willingness to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Excellent communication skills, able to interact effectively with teammates and customers.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Competitive base pay, starting at $17 per hour, plus commissions.
