Job DetailsOpenly is looking for a Territory Manager (internal title: Agency Success Manager). To be considered for this role, candidates must be residing in Connecticut.
The ASM’s are responsible for profitable growth, specifically by maximizing sales production and strengthening relationships with new and existing agencies. This critical role operates within the Openly sales organization by collaborating with team members to execute onboarding support and account penetration, enabling rapid adoption of Openly’s product, increasing sales productivity, and maintaining account retention.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with existing Openly Agent Partners to enhance and maximize sales results
- Support existing Openly agent partners with developing marketing campaigns
- Create and implement strategies and goals to increase new business production
- Support Business Development Managers with larger agency appointments
- Manage assigned territory to drive profitable growth and achieve financial goals
- Review and analyze territory trends to identify, communicate, and act on data
- Collaborate with other functions at Openly to drive industry‑leading agent experience for Openly’s agent partners
- Established agency network
- 2+ years of insurance carrier experience
- Must be located in Connecticut
- Travel up to 80% in assigned territory based on business needs
- Proven organizational, negotiation, and value‑based selling skills
- 3+ years of outstanding sales performance with the ability to drive results and innovate in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment
- Property & Casualty Insurance Producer License preferred, or the ability to get one within the first three months of employment
- Strong oral and written communication with the ability to manage large and small audiences, whether remote or in‑person
- A customer‑centric mindset with the ability to quickly establish trust and credibility
- Insurance product knowledge and the ability to gather additional knowledge rapidly
- Proficiency with Microsoft and Google products and experience working with a CRM
In addition to base salary, there are monthly and quarterly incentive plans up to an additional $45,000 annually.
Compensation & BenefitsBudgeted Salary Range: $69,840–$82,935 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on the successful candidate’s experience and skills.
Full Salary Range: $65,475–$109,125 USD.
