The Quality Parenting Center (QPC) provides asafe, welcoming, and family-centered environment where parents and children can build positive relationships and create meaningful memories together. Our team helps facilitate family visits, supportsparents in strengthening their parenting skills, and ensures children can safely attend visits and services.
As a Juvenile Transportation/Case Aide
, you willplay a critical role in helping children and families stay connected through safe, reliable transportation and supportive interactions.
- Safely transport children, youth, and families to and from scheduled visits, services, and programs.
- Build positive rapport with children and engage them during transportation.
- Supervise client behavior while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Report incidents, concerns, or disclosures to supervisors in atimely manner.
- Maintain accurate mileage logs and transportation documentation.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Follow all traffic laws and agency safety procedures.
- Keep agency vehicles clean and well-maintained.
- Participate in required trainings and team meetings.
- Utilize trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and strength-based approaches in all interactions.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate agency vehicles.
- Minimum of three years of driving experience
. - No more than one moving violation or accident within thepast three years
. - No DWI or DUI convictions.
- One to two years of experience transporting children, youth, or families.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic clerical and documentation skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Ability to safely install and carry car seats and enter/exit agency vehicles as needed.
- Associate degree in Human Services or a related field.
- Knowledge of the Juvenile Justice System and/or Child Protective Services.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
- Experience working with diverse populations and families.
