NodeJS Developer

We are seeking a Senior Node.js Software Engineer to build resilient and scalable APIs using modern cloud technologies.

The ideal candidate will be involved throughout the entire development lifecycle, from discovery and design to deployment and maintenance.

This role requires strong backend development skills, a user-centric approach, and the ability to deliver efficient, high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable APIs using Node.js and Type Script.
• Implement complex features and optimize performance for cloud-native applications.
• Write and execute comprehensive test cases, including automated UI testing using Playwright.
• Participate in Agile development methodologies such as SAFe.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and alignment with business priorities.
• Maintain and improve production applications, including on-call support and telemetry monitoring.
• Troubleshoot full-stack issues using tools like New Relic, Splunk, Cloud Watch, and Chrome Dev Tools.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Support API testing using tools such as Postman, Supertest, Axios, Jest, and Node.js assert.

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Node.js development with Type Script.
• 2+ years of cloud experience, preferably with AWS (API Gateway, Lambda, Dynamo
  
  DB, Secret Store, ECS).
• 2+ years of experience in Agile environments with CI/CD and TDD practices.
• 2+ years of on-call experience for production applications using telemetry tools.

• Experience with source control systems like Git Hub and Bitbucket.

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, and AWS.

• Professional experience with Postgre
  
  SQL on AWS.
• Backend development experience with Express.js, Fastify, NestJS, ECMAScript 2022, and limited Java.
