Senior .NET Developer (Hybrid, Azure, .NET Core) (Green card and USC only)Optomi, in partnership with a leading Property & Casualty insurance company, is looking for a Software Engineer (.NET/Angular/Azure) to join their team and support modernization efforts across their Microsoft-based tech environment.
Position Summary: This role will focus on contributing to centralized .NET development teams across Claims, Commercial Lines, and Enablement. The ideal candidate will have strong .NET development experience, knowledge of system design and cloud architecture, and the ability to mentor junior developers. The position offers high visibility with technical leaders and CIO involvement, and the opportunity to work on modernization-focused projects using .NET,
cloud architecture, and Angular technologies.

- Strong experience with .NET development
- Knowledge of system design and cloud architecture
- Ability to lead design sessions and mentor junior developers
- Prior experience in Microsoft environments and Agile/SAFe delivery
- P&C insurance experience is helpful but not required
- Support modernization and forward-state architecture initiatives
- Design and develop application systems and features within the .NET stack
- Contribute to system design, architectural discussions, and code quality
- Collaborate with business units to evaluate technical needs and feasibility
- Coordinate testing, debugging, and implementation activities
- Provide insight, recommendations, and engineering-level problem-solving
- Mentor junior developers on the team
- Work across distributed teams in Hartford, Charlotte, and Short Hills
