Artificial Intelligence Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on AI Architect to support a large-scale healthcare transformation program focused on improving how organizations leverage data, AI, and emerging technologies to drive better outcomes, population insights, and decision support. This is a strategic, long-term initiative supporting multiple work streams, with additional AI-focused projects expected to be introduced as the program evolves.

The role will play a key part in defining the architecture, roadmap, and technical direction for new AI capabilities. Current efforts are centered around leveraging Generative AI, LLMs, and AI Agents to analyze trends, identify target populations, surface actionable insights, and support data-driven decision making. Initial roadmap and solution design activities are underway, making this an opportunity to influence architecture from the ground up.

• Design and implement enterprise-scale AI solutions, AI agent frameworks, and LLM-powered applications
• Build and architect solutions utilizing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), prompt orchestration, and agentic AI patterns
• Partner with engineering, data, and business stakeholders to translate objectives into scalable technical solutions
• Define architecture standards, governance practices, and reusable AI solution patterns
• Support technology evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and production deployments
• Help establish long-term AI roadmaps and best practices for future initiatives

• 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Solution Architecture, AI/ML, Data Engineering, or related fields
• 3+ years designing and deploying AI/ML solutions in production environments
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, RAG, and prompt engineering/orchestration
• Experience designing scalable, secure cloud-based architectures
• Knowledge of APIs, microservices, containers, and Kubernetes
• Experience with Azure

• Architecture or technical leadership experience
• Experience establishing AI governance, MLOps, or LLMOps practices
• Background building AI-driven analytics, decision-support, or recommendation solutions
• Experience working within complex enterprise environments
