Construction Services Technician-Experienced
We are currently accepting applications for an immediate opening for a full‑time Experienced Construction Services Technician to be based at our White River Junction, Vermont office and work on construction projects throughout Vermont and New Hampshire.
In this position you will perform construction materials testing and inspections, including field testing and some laboratory testing of soil, concrete, masonry, asphalt, and other materials components associated with a variety of construction projects.
Responsibilities- Perform field testing and laboratory testing of construction materials.
- Sample and handle materials, including moving and transporting up to 75 lbs. over uneven ground.
- Communicate effectively with team members verbally and in writing.
- Interpret project specifications and plans and follow directions.
- Safely operate company equipment and use field signals.
- Obtain Nuclear Densometer Certification and complete OSHA 10‑Hour Construction Certification within one month of hire.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in Building Technology, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Certifications and licenses related to construction materials testing, such as ACI Concrete Testing Grade I, NETTCP, and/or ICC General Requirements and Special Inspections.
- Valid driver’s license and active personal auto insurance policy.
- Basic math skills.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. We are not able to sponsor employment visas at this time.
