School Psychologist in Woodstock, VT

Key

Qualifications:

• Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist or Counselor (as required by the state)
• Experience working within a school setting, particularly with elementary-aged children
• Strong background in both individual and small group counseling
• Ability to create and implement intervention strategies and provide overall school-based support
• Solid communication skills for collaboration with educators, administrators, students, and families
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across multiple school sites

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver counseling services to Pre-K through 6th-grade students in both individual and small group settings
• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results for educational planning
• Support the development and implementation of intervention plans to address academic, social, and emotional needs
• Collaborate with staff and families to promote student well-being and a positive learning environment
• Provide crisis intervention, consultation, and ongoing support to contribute to a healthy school climate
