License: Valid state nursing license

Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)

Must-Have:

Cataract experience required

Cerner EMR experience required

Profile must include specialty skill checklists for scrubbing and circulating

Description:

This position requires specialized nursing care in the operating room.

The nurse will function in both circulating and scrubbing capacities.

Services include general surgery, urology, ophthalmology, podiatry, pain management, and endoscopy procedures.

The surgical department features two operating rooms and a procedure room.

The majority of procedures are outpatient with limited inpatient care.

Care is provided for patients ages 16 and older.

Requests for time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at the time of profile upload.

Requests for time off after upload will not be accepted.

No more than five days of time off will be allowed.

Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius are not eligible for this position.

Travelers must have their own vehicle.

All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission.

Requests made after the offer may lead to rescinded offers.

Each call-off must be communicated to the unit supervisor at least 1.5 hours in advance.

There is a three-strike rule for call-offs, which may lead to contract termination.

Weekend call is required, with a callback time of one hour.
