Medical Surgical​/Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

7:30 PM - 7:00 AM

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with any experience within the last 24 months (2 years).
• 3 months of travel experience is required.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred.
• BSN completion preferred.

• Candidates must have a Vermont license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.
• Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Required Skills/

Experience:

2 years recent Med Surg and Rehab experience required.

Charge RN experience required.

Required Credentials:

Certifications are required to be included at time of submission.

Special Requests:

The area has no public transportation; travelers must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.

All RTO and scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission; requests made after upload or offer will not be approved and may lead to a rescinded offer.

Unit Details:

May be asked to work as a backup charge nurse.

Shift & Scheduling:

Every other weekend.

Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work two holiday blocks, if scheduled/needed:
Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and weekend after;
Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after;
New Year’s Eve through New Year’s Day and weekend after.

No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted.

Call is required for this assignment.

Floating Requirements:

Must be willing to float between Acute Rehab and Med Surg and to any unit within scope of practice.

5 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
