Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Quality Technician to join our team. The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring that products and materials meet established quality standards through inspection, testing, and documentation. This role plays a critical part in maintaining customer satisfaction and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
Position Details- Position Time: Full Time Hourly
- Shift: 2nd Shift
- Work Model: On Site
- Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Identify, document, and report non-conformities or defects
- Perform dimensional inspections using CMM, micrometers, height gages, optical comparator, profilometer, and a variety of other measurement equipment as needed
- Capable of operating a CMM / light programing when required
- Complete and maintain accurate inspection records and reports
- Review process documentation and material certifications to verify compliance with all applicable requirements
- Create ballooned drawing for inspection and manufacturing use
- Prepare final inspection reports and AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports, PPAP’s and Gage R&R
- Assist in calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment
- Experience with ERP systems, quality management software, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification preferred
- 3+ years of experience in quality inspection or manufacturing quality assurance
- Proficient in using advanced measuring instruments and quality software (e.g., CMM, Vision Systems, SPC tools)
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001, AS9100, or other applicable quality management systems
- Ability to interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with ERP and QMS systems is a plus
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed
- Manual dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination for precise measurements
The compensation range posted represents the full salary range for the role. Actual pay will be determined based on a candidate’s experience, skills, and the position level ultimately offered.
