The Town of Hartford, Vermont is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Highway Equipment Operator
1. This position will primarily operate a variety of trucks and other highway equipment, involving plowing, salting and sanding roads in winter, and assisting in general highway maintenance and construction work in other seasons, with a focus on operation of basic to moderately complex trucks and equipment, as well as manual labor.

Minimum qualifications include: 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. Possess a Class B Commercial Drive License (CDL) with Tank Endorsement or be able to acquire within 1‑year of employment.

The pay range for this position is $22.30 to $28.16, based on experience. Benefit package includes:
