CNC Machinists are responsible for operating a variety of manual and CNC machine tools, making adjustments to the machine, and detecting malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools.

Shift: 12-hour rotation on a 2-2-3 schedule, days 6:00 am- 6:00 pm or nights 6:00 pm-6:00 am

• Comply with all safety and health guidelines, quality standard practices/procedures, and housekeeping standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and part drawings
• Work independently by utilizing drawings and engineering information to determine methods and sequences of operations
• Machine parts to the required specifications up to +/- .00005 tolerances using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and 5-axis machines
• Select the appropriate tools, machines, materials, speed, and feeds required to complete the machining of the assigned parts

Work Environment/Physical Demands

• Frequently required to stand, walk, talk, and hear
• Use hands to work tools, controls, etc.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or HSED/GED Equivalent
• Understanding G and M codes and knowledge of FANUC, HEIDENHAIN, and/or SEIMENS controls is a plus
