Teaching Assistant – Hartlepool
Location: Hartlepool
Pay: £538.55 – £575.00 per week
Hours: Monday – Friday | Full-time / Part-time
Start Date: After Easter
Milk Education is seeking a motivated and caring Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Hartlepool.
This is a fantastic opportunity for both aspiring and experienced Teaching Assistants to support children at a key stage in their development, within a nurturing and inclusive Early Years setting.
Key Responsibilities- Support pupils within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), including children with SEND
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, play-based learning activities
- Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
- Prepare learning resources and support daily classroom routines
- Encourage positive behaviour and support pupil engagement
- Relevant qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ, or equivalent)
- Experience working with young children (school or nursery setting)
- Confidence supporting children with additional needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, adaptable, and passionate about education
