Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

Start Date: September 2026

Are you passionate about supporting young children during the most important stages of their learning and development? Milk Education is working with a friendly and welcoming primary school in Hartlepool that is looking to appoint a dedicated Early Years Assistant to join their supportive Early Years team from September 2026.

As an Early Years Assistant, you will:

• Support the Nursery and/or Reception Teacher with day-to-day classroom activities and observations.
• Help create a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive.
• Support children’s learning through play-based activities, small group interventions, and one-to-one support.
• Assist with daily routines, including personal care where required.
• Work closely with teaching staff to provide the highest standard of care and education for all pupils.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is caring, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting young children’s learning and development.
• Has strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Has a genuine passion for Early Years education.
• Is keen to develop professionally within a supportive school environment.
• Holds relevant childcare or Early Years experience or qualifications (desirable but not essential).

• The opportunity to work in a welcoming and supportive primary school in Hartlepool.

• Dedicated support from your Milk Education Consultant throughout your placement.
