Supply Chain Administrator

Hartlepool Full-Time or Part-Time Considered

Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Administrator to join a successful and expanding business operating across 23 regional depots nationwide.

Working within the Confirmation Team, you will play a key role in supporting the accurate processing of orders, stock movements and customer invoicing. This is a business-critical position requiring strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

This role would suit candidates with previous experience as a Supply Chain Administrator, Procurement Administrator, Logistics Administrator, Finance Administrator, Transport Administrator or Order Processing Administrator. We are also keen to hear from Supply Chain, Logistics and Procurement graduates looking to begin their career within a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing order confirmations across allocated depots, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
  • Raising and managing customer invoices
  • Maintaining schedules and processing system updates as required
  • Ensuring Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) are accurately entered and allocated
  • Monitoring vehicle stock levels and investigating discrepancies
  • Processing third-party confirmations and associated invoices
  • Completing depot stock reconciliations and reporting variances
  • Processing credit notes within agreed timescales
  • Responding to customer invoice and account queries via telephone and email
  • Providing administrative support to the wider team
  • Proactively escalating any exceptions or issues to management

Skills & Experience

  • Previous administration experience within supply chain, logistics, procurement, finance or a similar environment
  • Strong order processing and data entry skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Experience with in transport or finance would be advantageous
  • Supply Chain, Logistics or Procurement graduates are encouraged to apply
