MTrec Commercial are proudly representing our prestigious client on their search to appoint an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator on a full time and permanent basis.

• The person will largely operate independently, with support set out for holidays, absence and general cover.
• Core responsibility: Manage inbound supplier deliveries, predominantly from Egypt, through to the Hartlepool site.
• Shipment management: Take ownership of planned shipments and provide weekly updates / meetings with Heads of Departments.
• Logistics: Liaise with shipping and transport providers.
• Commercial responsibility: Ensure shipping rates are measured and agreed using FOB (Free on Board) Incoterms.

• Previous experience in international shipping / freight forwarding, import logistics, supplier coordination is essential
• Egypt / Middle East trade would be welcomed, although this is not essential.
