Hygiene Operative

About the Role

We're looking for a reliable and detail‑focused Hygiene Operative to join our team in Hartlepool. You'll play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the site, ensuring all hygiene tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with COSHH regulations.

Key Responsibilities

· Carry out scheduled and reactive cleaning tasks across production and non‑production areas

· Safely handle, dilute, and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with COSHH guidelines

· Work closely with the hygiene and production teams to maintain a safe, compliant environment

· Ensure all tasks meet company, customer, and audit standards

About You

· Experience in hygiene, cleaning, or industrial environment required

· Understanding of COSHH and safe chemical handling

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards

· Able to work independently and as part of a team

· Full training, including COSHH and equipment use will be provided.
