Availability Window

  • Sunday – 10:00‑22:00
  • Friday – 18:00‑00:00
  • Saturday – 18:00‑00:00

Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week. If you would prefer to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for that as well.

We schedule your contracted hours within the availability window and provide three weeks' notice of your shifts. We support flexibility if your availability closely matches but not exactly matches our advertised times.

  • May be required to accept deliveries into the store.
Qualifications & Eligibility
  • Must be over 18 years old; we only recruit individuals who have passed the school leaver's age.
  • Experience or willingness to work in areas such as the warehouse, drinks, counters, bakery or driving roles if required.
  • Strong customer service attitude, friendly greeting and pride in service.
  • Ability to build rapport with customers, leaving them with a great shopping experience.
  • Decision‑making skills focused on customers.
  • Teamwork and open communication.
  • Build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit, celebrate success.
  • Punctual, well‑presented and ready to be a brand ambassador.
