Our client, Hartlepool Borough Council is looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join their Fostering

Hartlepool Borough Council are seeking an experienced social worker to join our Fostering Team We offer very well supported and manageable caseloads. The successful applicant will need to have experience in the recruitment, assessment, and support of foster carers. You will have knowledge of Fostering legislation, procedure, and compliance. You will be child focused. We will offer manageable caseloads to ensure you can provide bespoke support to foster carers, excellent training opportunities to further develop your practice and you will be part of a well-established, dedicated and motivated team.

We have embedded the Secure Base Model into our practice and we ensure all new members of staff undertake training to allow them to confidently use the model. Children Services in Hartlepool priorities the wellbeing of staff through manageable caseloads, a highly supportive and visible management team, an excellent staff wellbeing at work offer and a very positive culture of support and development.

We are especially proud of the support and guidance we offer newly qualified Social Workers. A dedicated team of very experienced practitioners work very closely with the newly qualified Social Workers and Team Managers to ensure newly qualified Social Workers have the very best experience and finish their first year in practice highly skilled and full of confidence
