The Concessions Manager is responsible for managing all concession operations for the Hartselle Parks & Recreation Department. This role oversees staff, inventory, and financial processes to ensure efficient, safe, and profitable concession services during games, tournaments, and events.

• Recommend menu items and pricing; analyze sales data for improvements.
• Assist with annual budgeting; monitor labor and food costs.
• Implement and maintain an approved Point-of-Sale system.
• Reconcile daily receipts and deposits; ensure compliance with financial procedures.
• Order, verify, and maintain inventory of concession supplies.
• Ensure equipment functionality and facility cleanliness; report maintenance needs.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise concession staff; enforce health and safety regulations.
• Maintain compliance with food safety laws, Health Department regulations, and child labor laws.
• Attend meetings and training; provide process improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3–4 years of experience in food service management.
• Valid Serv Safe Instructor certification.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and non-standard hours.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Successful completion of pre-employment requirements: medical exam, drug test, background check, and authorization to work in the U.S.

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (occasionally more).
• Work involves standing, stooping, and exposure to varying weather conditions.
