Hartselle Campus Worship Pastor

Classification: Full-Time (Sunday-Thursday)

Position Summary

Daystar Church is seeking a full-time Worship Pastor to lead the worship ministry at our Hartselle Campus. This role is responsible for cultivating a Spirit-led, musically excellent worship environment that aligns with the vision and culture of Daystar Church. The ideal candidate will be a strong vocalist and instrumentalist, a team builder, and a spiritual leader who is passionate about developing people and leading others into the presence of God.

• Serve as the primary worship leader for all Sunday services and campus events.

• Oversee the recruitment, training, and spiritual development of worship team members.

• Implement and lead the Daystar Worship development process to onboard and grow volunteers.

• Build and disciple a Worship Lead Team to support weekly ministry execution.

• Collaborate with the Production Team to deliver high-quality, distraction-free worship services.

• Provide worship leadership for key church events including:

21 Days of Prayer

Freedom Conferences

Worship Nights

Monthly All Staff Gatherings

• Support and develop student worship at the campus in partnership with the Next Gen team.

• Maintain consistent office hours on-site at the Hartselle Campus.

• Provide pastoral counseling hours (2+ hours/week) in coordination with the Campus Pastor.

• Work with other campus worship pastors and service coordinators to create song resources, setlist and plan for events (Worship Nights, Christmas, Easter)

• Help implement new stage designs twice a year.

• Lead one small group per semester and encourage worship team members to participate in groups.

• Stay current with worship trends, tools, and songs; engage in continued personal and professional development.

• Assist with worship and audio support for campus-wide and churchwide events as needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Campus Pastor.

Qualifications

Required:

• A vibrant, growing relationship with Jesus Christ

• Strong vocal and instrumental worship leading ability (guitar or piano preferred)

• Proven ability to lead and develop volunteer teams

• Alignment with the beliefs, mission, and core values of Daystar Church

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as ministry requires

Preferred:

• 3+ years of experience in worship ministry leadership

• Experience in a multi-site or high-production environment

• Familiarity with Planning Center, Pro Presenter, Multitracks Playback App, Ableton Live, and other worship technologies
