Industrial Maintenance Tech

Our client, a leading manufacturer of wood products is seeking a Industrial Maintenance Tech to join their team. As a Industrial Maintenance Tech, you will be part of the Maintenance team supporting daily operations in a wood manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to read and understand basic machine schematics with little guidance, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range:**  $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

** Attendance Bonus:
** weekly perfect attendance bonus offered

** Shift:
** Monday - Friday, 5:00 PM - 3:00 AM

** What's the Job?*
* + Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) assigned by a supervisor to keep production equipment running efficiently

+ Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery using a variety of hand and power tools

+ Troubleshoot issues across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to restore equipment to safe operating condition

+ Follow OSHA requirements and practice safety awareness in all daily activities, including lock-out/tag-out procedures

+ Organize parts and materials in the proper locations and support smooth communication with supervisors and team members

** What's Needed?*
* + High School graduate or GED required

+ 1-2 years of experience in maintenance and repair of industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment is desirable

+ Valid state driver's license required

+ Ability to safely and effectively use hydraulic equipment, pneumatic equipment, presses, cordless drills, clamps, and other small tools

+ Ability to use measuring equipment (digital and dial indicators, calipers, micrometers, levels, angle and depth gages, etc.) to diagnose wear or damage with accuracy up to 0.001"
