About the Role:

We’re seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our team in Columbia.

This role offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, lead tax engagements, mentor staff, and help shape the future of our firm. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, technically proficient, and passionate about delivering high-quality service.



Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns, including multi-state and pass-through entity returns
• Provide proactive tax planning and prepare projections for clients
• Respond to federal and state tax notices
• Support the training and development of staff; serve as a mentor and resource
• Create a collaborative and supportive work environment
• Research complex tax and business issues and present clear findings
• Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services
• Participate in business development and networking initiatives
• Assist firm partners with administrative and leadership responsibilities
• Continuously grow technical knowledge and contribute to the firm's overall success

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s preferred)
• CPA license (required)
• 5+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax
• Strong leadership, communication, and client service skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Commitment to teamwork, growth, and delivering top-tier client service
