The Visual Computing Group (VCG) in the Harvard John
A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) at Harvard University seeks postdoctoral fellows with a Ph.D. in computer science/engineering or a related field to work on varied research projects in visual computing. Potential candidates should possess a strong background in one or more fields related to computer graphics, visualization, or computer vision.
In addition to working closely with scientists, engineers, and graduate students on research projects, the candidate is expected to actively participate in writing grant proposals.
The position is available immediately. The initial term for this position is one year; reappointment for a second year is contingent upon funding.
Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate or terminal degree in computer science/engineering by the time the appointment begins.
Additional Qualifications:
Candidates should have a substantial publication history and good teamwork and communication skills. Strong software development experience is a plus.

Pay offered to the selected candidate is dependent on factors such as rank, years of experience, training or qualification, field of scholarship, and accomplishments in the field.
