Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
• CPR certification (AHA preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in Skilled Nursing, Long Term Care, or similar healthcare setting
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

RN Responsibilities in Skilled Nursing & Long Term Care

• Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with clinical protocols and nursing standards
• Monitor and document patient responses to medications and treatments
• Administer medications per policy, licensure, and Illinois state regulations
• Respond promptly to patient needs and report significant observations to the healthcare team
• Participate in developing and implementing individualized patient care plans
• Recognize and respond to emergency situations within RN scope of practice
• Educate patients and families on self‑care and document teaching provided
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all nursing care activities
