Immediate hiring for a Dedicated SOLO Class A CDL Driver – Harvard, IL. You will drive for Ryder as an entry-level driver.

• Pay Rates:
  • Solo Miles: $0.60 per mile (2000 miles per week)
  • Solo Stops: $26 per stop (15 stops per week)
  • Per Diem: $40 per night (1‑2 nights per week)
• Start Time: 2:00 AM — 6:00 AM dispatch window
• Paid Training

• Regions: IL, WI, IA, OH, MI, IN, KS, NE, MN, ND, SD, KY (Regional)
• Tractor:
  Day Cab
• Trailer:
  Dry Van 31'‑53'
• Equipment:
  Electric & Manual Pallet Jack
• Freight:
  Touch – Hardware Supplies
• Endorsements:
  Hazmat (within 90 days of hire), cost reimbursed
• Trucks: 36‑month or newer, 24/7 roadside maintenance, fuel at >800 facilities nationwide

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass Ryder drug test
• Pass Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check (including prior‑employer drug/alcohol verification for last 3 years)
• Pass DOT physical
• Pass Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements
• Class A driver experience:
  • 9 months within past 3 years
  • 2 years within last 5 years
  • 5 years within last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Detect, eliminate, or minimize safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting as required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
