Purchasing Manager

Our client, a growing HVAC and mechanical contractor, is seeking a Purchasing Manager to support procurement activities for commercial construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with construction, HVAC, purchasing, project coordination, or estimating experience who is looking to grow their career with a well-established organization. Source and purchase HVAC, mechanical, and construction-related materials and equipment. Obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and secure the best possible value from suppliers. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and manufacturers. Coordinate purchasing activities with Project Managers, Estimators, and Operations teams. Monitor material lead times and ensure timely delivery to project sites. Track purchase orders, deliveries, and vendor performance. Assist with forecasting material requirements based on project schedules.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements. Support project teams by ensuring materials are available when needed.

Experience in purchasing, procurement, construction, HVAC, project coordination, estimating, or a related field. Knowledge of construction materials and purchasing processes preferred. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience with in HVAC, mechanical contracting, plumbing, or commercial construction is highly preferred.
