Job Description & How to Apply Below
Devens, MA - Hybrid - 2-3 days on-site a week
In this role, the systems you design go from your desk to the front line. We build everything from unmanned ground robots to mission-critical ship and submarine systems, and we're looking for a Staff Electrical Engineer who wants to help shape what comes next.
Why you'll love it here
- Variety: No two projects look alike. You'll move between new development, system support, and payload integration.
- Impact: Your designs will help overcome next-generation threats and protect those who serve.
- Growth: Work alongside experienced senior engineers who invest in your development.
- Heritage and innovation: Build on decades of experience delivering leading-edge, mission-ready solutions, with a team that prides itself on mission-led innovation.
Ready to build technology that matters? Join our Devens, MA team and put your engineering skills to work on something bigger than a product launch.
Responsibilities
- Design next-generation systems for domestic and international customers in a fast-paced, result-driven environment.
- Dive into analog, digital, mixed-signal, and cabling design, and PCB design with the variety to keep every project fresh.
- Support testing and qualification, helping prove your designs hold up before they reach the field.
- Work across the full lifecycle, from developing brand-new systems to integrating new or existing payloads into proven platforms.
- Solve real engineering problems with support and review from senior engineers who’ll sharpen your skills.
Required Qualifications
- BSEE or equivalent, with 1-5 years of relevant experience
- Experience using CAD tools for electro-mechanical design and managing bills of materials (BOMs)
- Ability to work independently and prioritize competing tasks
- Hands-on experience with standard lab and shop tools
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Clearance if required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of any of OrCAD, PADS, AutoCAD, or Solid Works
- PCB design experience with Altium Designer
- Hands-on experience working with electro-mechanical actuator systems and controllers
