Phlebotomist II – Harvey, LA

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with rotational weekends.

Pay range: $17.85+ per hour. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information; confirm and verify written and electronic orders using lab technology systems.
• Enter data accurately; navigate computer systems.
• Obtain identification, enter billing information, collect payments per corporate policies.
• Process specimens (label, centrifuge, aliquot, freeze, prepare for transport).
• Perform non‑patient facing duties: inventory, stock supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, email.
• Read, understand and comply with department policies, protocols and procedures.
• Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature logs timely.
• Complete online and in‑person training courses on time.

• Three years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry proficiency.
• Flexible schedule: weekends, holidays, on‑call, overtime.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.
• Effective communication in English.
