1st Class Manual Machinist

We are seeking a dedicated Inside Manual Machinist with at least 1 year of experience with manual and CNC machining. The candidate will fabricate machine components such as shafts, rudder stocks, stern tubes, etc., using manual and CNC machinery.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience with manual and CNC machining
• Proficiency in operating manual mills, lathes, and drill presses
• Ability to use measuring tools (dial calipers and micrometers)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and work instructions

• Strong understanding of machining techniques and best practices
• Attention to detail and precision in fabricating components
• Good problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with other team members and departments
• Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in a machining environment

• Operate manual mills, lathes, and drill presses to fabricate machine components
• Use measuring tools such as dial calipers and micrometers to ensure precision
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and work instructions to complete tasks accurately
