We would be thrilled to have you join the AGI Industries, Inc employee-owned team as a Service Technician in our Harvey, Louisiana branch! This is a full-time, hourly position.

Position Overview
Service technicians are responsible for repairing and servicing machinery under supervision or after consultation with a supervisor. Potential for offshore assignments once qualified.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- 1-2 years of mechanical experience with knowledge of rotating and alignment equipment.
- Ability to follow directions and perform tasks with minimal supervision.
- Attention to detail and quality control.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to read and understand basic drawings and diagrams.
- Good mathematical skills.
- Proficiency with basic hand tools and air tools.
- Ability to operate laser alignment tools, power tools, and forklifts.
- Ability to occasionally lift/carry between 10# and 100# and push/pull 30# of force.
- Frequent use of fine and gross hand manipulation.
Key Responsibilities
- Disassemble and evaluate pumps.
- Assemble and test pumps.
- Remove and install pumps in the field.
- Rebuild pumps in the field.
- Assist customers with starting new pumps.
- Perform equipment alignment.
- Prepare parts lists for repairs.
- Use measurements to decide repair actions.
- Assist in field repairs.
- Use technical drawings for disassembly and reassembly.
- Perform daily safety and operational inspections.
