Service Valet​/Porter​/Driveway Assistant

Overview

The Mills Automotive Group is hiring for a Service Lane Valet / Porter at our Ford of Harvey location. These candidates will support the service department in the customer service lanes by parking and retrieving customer vehicles and assisting with occasional shuttle-type activities for customers. Candidates must have an impeccable driving record and pass a substance use screening, and must possess a professional appearance and strong customer service skills.

$12.50/hr - $15.00/hr

• Greet customers in the service drive with a friendly, upbeat attitude
• Direct customers to the appropriate person or location
• Control service traffic flow and vehicle parking
• Park vehicles in assigned areas
• Record customer's name, VIN, tag number, mileage and existing vehicle damage
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free and appealing service drive area
• Inspect arriving vehicles to detect damage and verify the presence of listed accessories; record damages and missing items on the delivery receipt
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Other tasks as assigned

• No prior experience required, but preferred

• Ability to add, subtract and multiply using basic math
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions
• Ability to deal with simple tasks and follow directions with minimal supervision

• Valid Driver's License
