Accounts Semi Senior

This well-established accountancy firm is continuing to grow and is looking to add an Accounts Semi-Senior to the team. The role offers a broad mix of accounts and tax work, including statutory accounts, management accounts and VAT, giving you the chance to build experience across a varied client base. The position would suit someone with previous practice experience, although graduates with a relevant degree and a genuine interest in accountancy will also be considered.

The Role Working with a varied portfolio of clients, you will gain exposure to a broad range of accounting work and take on increasing responsibility as you develop. The role covers both accounts and tax, giving you the chance to build a well-rounded skill set within practice. You will work alongside experienced members of the team while also having regular client contact, helping you develop both technically and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare statutory accounts for a range of clients Assist with management accounts Prepare VAT returns Support personal and corporation tax work Complete working papers and reconciliations Deal with day-to-day client queries Liaise with clients to obtain relevant information Assist with other accounts work as required The successful Accounts Semi-Senior will have:
