Service Advisor

Location: Shottermill

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Service Advisor at a reputable independent garage in Haslemere, Surrey. This opportunity is ideal for experienced Service Advisors seeking to develop their career within a professional and welcoming environment. Up to £35,000 per annum dependent on experience
OTE up to £38,000 with bonuses
Working Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Saturday rota on a 1 in 2 basis (negotiable)

Duties required of the Service Advisor include:

Greeting customers and establishing their vehicle service needs
Coordinating with technicians and interpreting customer concerns
Providing accurate and transparent cost estimates for repairs and servicing
Managing work orders and service bookings via garage management systems
Keeping customers informed on vehicle progress and additional work
Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues professionally
Upselling relevant services and products
Ensuring workshop workflow remains efficient while maintaining quality standards

Requirements for the Service Advisor role include:

Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer-facing automotive position
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Technical understanding of automotive repairs (preferred but not essential)

Experience with garage management systems (desirable)
Professional, approachable manner with a customer-first attitude
Valid UK driving licence (desirable)
