Service Advisor

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Service Advisor at a reputable independent garage in Haslemere, Surrey. This opportunity is ideal for experienced Service Advisors seeking to develop their career within a professional and welcoming environment. • Up to £35,000 per annum dependent on experience
• OTE up to £38,000 with bonuses
• Working Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Saturday rota on a 1 in 2 basis (negotiable)

• Greeting customers and establishing their vehicle service needs
• Coordinating with technicians and interpreting customer concerns
• Providing accurate and transparent cost estimates for repairs and servicing
• Managing work orders and service bookings via garage management systems
• Keeping customers informed on vehicle progress and additional work
• Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues professionally
• Upselling relevant services and products
• Ensuring workshop workflow remains efficient while maintaining quality standards

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer‑facing automotive position
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
• Technical understanding of automotive repairs (preferred but not essential)
• Experience with garage management systems (desirable)
• Professional, approachable manner with a customer‑first attitude
• Valid UK driving licence (desirable)
