Graduate Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant Outstanding All-Through School | Hindhead, Surrey Full-Time | One-Year Fixed-Term Contract or Permanent Position £550 - £575 per week

The Role

  • Provide classroom support across a range of subjects and key stages.
  • Deliver targeted one-to-one and small-group interventions.
  • Support pupils with varying learning needs and abilities.
  • Assist students in developing strong literacy, numeracy, and study skills.
  • Help create an engaging, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
  • Work alongside teachers to prepare resources and support lesson delivery.
  • Support students socially, emotionally, and academically.
  • Encourage pupil participation, confidence, and independence.
  • Contribute to the school's strong pastoral and wellbeing provision.

Essential Requirements
  • A degree from a recognised university.
  • Strong GCSE and A-Level results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A professional, positive, and proactive attitude.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and young people.
Desirable
  • Previous experience working with children or young people.
  • Experience in tutoring, mentoring, coaching, youth work, or educational settings.
  • An interest in teaching, educational psychology, speech and language therapy, or SEND.
  • Experience supporting students with additional learning needs.
  • A driving licence and access to a vehicle.
