Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga (TToH) is seeking a well‑organised, motivated, and communicative administrator with strong attention to detail and excellent people skills.
Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga (TToH) is a whānau‑focused, kaupapa Māori values‑based health and social services organisation, delivering professional services to our Hawke’s Bay and wider Eastern region communities. For over 40 years, our health, social, education and community development teams have worked successfully alongside whānau to achieve positive outcomes.
Our Out of Gate service supports whānau after their release from prison with their reintegration needs to prevent reoffending.
AboutThe Role
Reporting to the Team Manager Te Puna Rangatira, this role provides essential administrative support and coordination of the Out of Gate Administration and Reintegration Services. You will play a key role in managing referrals and ensuring smooth communication across the service.
This role is part‑time, 20 hours per week. We are open as to how those hours are split across the week.
Key Responsibilities- Timely and accurate processing of online referrals (local and out‑of‑region)
- Handle and track referrals across multiple services
- Communicate and coordinate court dates and related updates
- Support Out of Gate administration and reintegration processes
- Maintain accurate tracking and reporting systems
- Cover main reception and assist with other administrative tasks as required
- Previous experience in administration
- Strong Microsoft Office and database management skills
- Experience in the community health or social services sector
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- High standard of professionalism and work ethic
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge and understanding of kaupapa and tikanga Māori
- Full and current driver’s licence
