Substitute Site Lead Position Long Term Sub (12 weeks)
Location:
Kennedy
Shift times: 6:15 am – 8:45 am, 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Prep time 90 min as needed.
Rate of pay: $21.77 per hour.
Job Responsibilities- Supervise and maintain safety:
Supervise children at all times, respond to emergencies, ensure healthy environment. - Program implementation:
Adapt activities per guidelines to support social, emotional, physical, cognitive development. - Child interaction:
Interact positively, use developmentally appropriate practices, respond to individual needs. - Communication:
Communicate effectively with children, staff, parents, administrators. Maintain confidentiality, foster relationships. - Daily operations:
Assist with snack prep, cleanup, help set up and maintain clean organized environment.
- Education:
High school diploma or GED required. - Experience:
Preferred previous childcare or school-age program experience. - Skills:
Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership skills. Flexible, reliable, works well with others in fast‑paced environment.
