- Lead the development and optimization of tooling, processes, and equipment for extrusion.
- Provide senior‑level technical support for troubleshooting and problem‑solving.
- Guide and supervise tool shop activities and personnel.
- Evaluate and recommend new equipment, including capital justification.
- Manage engineering projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and documentation are maintained.
- Drive continuous improvement, training, and new technology initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and provide technical input for customer RFQs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field.
- 5+ years of plastics extrusion experience (required).
- Tooling experience (preferred).
- Supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Strong proficiency in Solid Works and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A continuous improvement mindset and passion for efficiency.
- Advanced technical expertise and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
