Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and optimization of tooling, processes, and equipment for extrusion.
  • Provide senior‑level technical support for troubleshooting and problem‑solving.
  • Guide and supervise tool shop activities and personnel.
  • Evaluate and recommend new equipment, including capital justification.
  • Manage engineering projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and documentation are maintained.
  • Drive continuous improvement, training, and new technology initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and provide technical input for customer RFQs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field.
  • 5+ years of plastics extrusion experience (required).
  • Tooling experience (preferred).
  • Supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Solid Works and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and passion for efficiency.
  • Advanced technical expertise and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
