Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Health Unit Coordinator (HUC)

Full‑Time, varying hours including every other weekend

Days – Flexible start time 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

$24.00 – $26.00 per hour depending on experience

• Provide excellent customer service to all residents, visitors, and staff.
• Work with admissions, room transfers, and discharges.
• Transcribe physician orders and assist in preparing residents’ treatment charts.
• Schedule resident appointments, transportation, and labs.
• Prepare and file 21‑day admission audits on each resident.
• Maintain and file resident medical records electronically.
• Direct phone calls, sort mail, and complete other receptionist duties.
• Perform other tasks as requested.

• Prior experience as a Health Information Coordinator, Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) or Trained Medication Aide (TMA) required.
• Must be able to pass medical terminology class.
• Current Minnesota LPN license preferred.
• Basic knowledge of computers, word processing, data processing, and copy machines.
• Strong leadership, written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management and team‑building skills.
• Self‑starter with a desire to be a part of a team.
