The Health Center Association of Nebraska (HCAN) is actively recruiting a Dentist to join our Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Hastings, Nebraska, where you will provide high-quality, patient-centered dental care for all. Utilizing an integrated care approach, our providers work collaboratively to address all aspects of patients’ health and believe that exceptional, compassionate care should be accessible and affordable for all.

Medical, dental, behavioral health, and outreach services are coordinated to ensure well-rounded, comprehensive care.

Your Role
  • Provide complete dental care to patients to include preventive care, education, and required dental treatment
  • Record patient-dentist transactions as they occur in the patient’s dental record
  • Educate patients in oral health promotion and disease prevention
  • Observe and provide guidance to dental students who are performing services at the health center
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve health outcomes
  • Provide professional perspective and direction in development of the dental care plan and strategic plan for the health center
What We Are Looking For
  • Graduate of an accredited school of dentistry with an unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the state of Nebraska
  • Knowledge of public health principles and practices is preferred
  • Demonstrated professional commitment to providing services to medically under‑served individuals
  • Ability to foster strong patient-provider relationships
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience preferred
  • Live and work in a friendly community conveniently located in the heart of Nebraska
